This online workshop provides information and strategies on how to write a convincing grant or fellowship proposal, to maximize the chances of getting funded. It’s best suited for researchers who are working on a research proposal or plan to start working on one soon.
To enable maximum possible transfer of learned skills, the trainer employs interactive and collaborative methods including exercises, text analysis, reflections and discussions with the group and in pairs.
Objectives
- understand the application & selection process of research funding.
- learn how to develop a compelling storyline/case for their proposal.
- structure the proposal and know which elements to include.
- understand how to write their proposal clearly & convincingly.
- reflect on the whole preparation process, from finding a strong research idea to navigating collaborations with co-authors.
- develop a timeline to prepare the application.
- draft parts of the proposal.
- give & get peer feedback on the proposal.
Participation on all dates is mandatory.
