Objectives

The goal of this workshops is to sensitize participants to the possible pitfalls of ML and AI approaches in the analysis and interpretation of data.

Prerequisites

All PhD Students who plan to use computational/quantitative ML/AI approaches as part of their work are welcome. Due to the trainers own experience, the focus of the examples will be from the intersection of data science, medical science and computer science. While it is open to students of all departments, it should be taken into consideration that a **basic understanding** of (or *tolerance to*) the mathematical foundations of ML and AI is required for this course and is also recommended.
